Job summary

Accenture India is seeking a Mid-Tier LTE/5G Wireless Engineer to design, deploy, optimize, and troubleshoot LTE and 5G networks for telecom operator environments. The role emphasizes KPI analysis, signaling traces, and cross-functional collaboration with RF, RAN, Core, and global delivery teams.

You will apply automation concepts, Python, and AI/ML tools to improve network performance, delivery quality, and operational efficiency in a large-scale, distributed setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years telecom experience with LTE/5G architecture.

Job Summary:

As a Mid-Tier Wireless Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, optimizing, and troubleshooting LTE and 5G wireless networks for telecom operator environments. Your typical day will involve analyzing KPIs and network performance metrics, investigating signaling traces and call flows, validating network changes, and collaborating with RF, RAN, Core, operations, and global delivery teams. You will also apply a software and automation mindset to improve network performance, operational efficiency, and delivery quality.

Roles Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and optimize LTE and 5G wireless networks to meet performance and operational requirements.
• Troubleshoot RAN, RF, Core, and operations issues across telecom operator environments.
• Analyze KPIs, logs, traces, signaling flows, call flows, and performance metrics to identify issues and improvement opportunities.
• Perform testing and validation of network changes, new features, enhancements, and rollout activities.
• Collaborate with RF, RAN, Core, operations, and global delivery teams to resolve issues and improve network outcomes.
• Use operator tools for network monitoring, optimization, investigation, and documentation of findings.
• Document technical findings, root causes, solutions, and recommendations for stakeholder review.
• Leverage automation, Python, AI/ML tools, and network automation approaches where applicable to improve efficiency.

Professional Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Strong LTE/5G architecture and wireless network engineering knowledge.
• Strong understanding of RAN, RF, Core, KPIs, network performance metrics, logs, traces, and call-flow analysis.
• Hands‑on experience with telecom operator tools for monitoring, troubleshooting, optimization, and validation.
• Experience supporting feature rollout, network enhancements, testing, and change validation activities.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, documentation, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Good to have experience with Python, automation, AI/ML tools, network automation, cloud/network virtualization, and global delivery environments.

Additional Information:

The ideal candidate will bring strong telecom operator environment experience and the ability to work independently while collaborating across distributed teams.

This position is based in India and supports Technology Communications Media global delivery work.

Exposure to automation, AI/ML tooling, and cloud or network virtualization will be an added advantage.
