Job summary

Invest India, the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency, seeks a seasoned professional to drive business development, investment promotion, EoDB enablement, and IRM management. You will engage global leads, including Taiwan-focused partners, and coordinate with missions, associations, and industry teams to advance investment opportunities.

The role involves organizing roadshows, webinars, and events; developing country intelligence, policy recommendations, and country collateral;

Qualifications

• Masters preferred with 8+ years of experience.
• Experience in investment/trade promotions or working with global companies or exposure to foreign companies.
• Exposure to global stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Mandarin and English at professional level; being Taiwanese is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Source and engage active investment leads through targeted outreach.
• Increase coverage across international SMEs and build a network with corridor-focused partners.
• Build network with Taiwan-focused partners.
• Facilitate initial interactions with potential investors, independently or with industry teams.
• Organize and execute roadshows and promotional events; track participation and lead generation.
• Conduct roundtables, webinars and one-to-many engagements with missions, associations, and partners.
• Innovate methods for pipeline generation and progress leads to sector/state teams.
• Collaborate with industry, state, and R&D teams on lead development.
• Identify and collate EoDB issues; support resolution efforts.
• Organize EoDB-focused roundtables; provide policy recommendations to sectors/states.
• Support deliverables in G2G platforms and ensure quality of outcomes.
• Maintain timely updates on IRM systems and country websites.
• Contribute to high-quality country-specific collateral and respond to ad-hoc senior leadership requests.
• Handle investor queries within defined turnaround times and satisfaction benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

• - Source and engage active investment leads through targeted outreach.
• - increase coverage across International small and medium enterprises, build network with Corridor focussed Partners
• - Build network with Taiwan focussed Partners
• - Facilitate initial interactions with potential investors, independently or with industry teams.

Investment Promotion

• - Organize and execute roadshows and promotional events, track participation and lead generation.
• - Conduct roundtables, webinars, and one-to-many engagements in collaboration with missions, associations, and other partners.
• - Innovate and implement new methods for pipeline generation.
• - Progress leads to sector or state teams for qualification and conversion.
• - Categorize and hand over leads based on touchpoint intensity and investment value.
• - Collaborate with industry, state, and R&D teams on lead development.

Enabling Ease of Doing Business (EoDB)

• - Identify and collate EoDB issues; support resolution efforts.
• - Organize EoDB-focused roundtables
• - Provide policy recommendations to relevant sectors and states.
• - Support deliverables and receivables in G2G platforms such as Joint Working Groups, CEO Forums, Trade Forums, QUAD, IPEF, WAIPA, etc.
• - Ensure quality of outcomes through regular feedback and reporting.
• - Develop country intelligence documents covering investment, trade, and R&D.
• - Contribute to high-quality country-specific collateral and respond to ad-hoc requests from senior leadership.
• - Handle investor queries within defined turnaround times and satisfaction benchmarks.

IRM & Website Management

• - Maintain accurate and timely updates on IRM systems regarding advisory, meetings, issues, and policy work.
• - Regularly update the country-specific website, including blogs and other content.
• - Demonstrate strong collaboration through peer and manager feedback.
• - Participate in 360-degree reviews and contribute to a high-performance team culture.

Performance Matrix

• - Incremental value add in the investment leads and pipeline build (minimum 30%)

Qualifications
