Job summary

NTT DATA in Pune seeks a Mid QE to develop and run test automation frameworks, evaluate manual and automated test cases, and perform load and stress tests. You will interpret results and contribute to project reviews.

The role requires 5+ years in test automation, hands-on testing of Java/C#/JS, and experience with Selenium, Cucumber, and performance tools. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality software releases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in test automation using Selenium/Cucumber or similar frameworks.
• 4 years hands-on software testing automation (Java, C# and/or JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Experience in functional and end-to-end test case design.
• Experience in defect management.
• Knowledge in test automation design, frameworks, and iterative development.
• 4 years of experience in at least one of the performance testing tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage defects from identification to retest and resolution.

Quality Engineer Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test automation frameworks and test automation suites
• Evaluate and maintain existing manual and automated test cases & procedures
• Perform load and stress tests using enterprise level test automation tools
• Interpret test results and prepare comprehensive test reports
• Participate in project-wide reviews of requirements, system architecture and detailed design documents

Required Skills

• +5 years Experience using a test automation tool like Selenium/Cucumber/ Java or Selenium/C#.net/Spec Flow or similar frameworks.
• 4 years hands-on experience in software testing and writing software testing automation (Java, C# and/or JavaScript/TypeScript)
• Experience in functional and end to end test case design
• Experience in defect management
• Knowledge in test automation design, frameworks, and iterative development
• 4 years of experience in at least one of the performance testing tool

Preferred Skills

• Mobile test automation is a plus
• Understanding of test automation design, frameworks, and iterative development
• Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Design (BDD) and the Gherkin syntax as well as Cucumber (or similar) testing framework would be a BIG PLUS
• Experience implementing testing strategies and automation infrastructure for large scale system software is a plus
