Job summary

Mindera seeks a Microsoft Viva Amplify & Communication Engineer to implement and optimize Viva Amplify, Viva Connections, and SharePoint Online solutions. You will design intranet experiences, develop SPFx components, and ensure secure, scalable employee communications across Microsoft 365.

The role requires strong skills in SPFx, ACE, TypeScript, React, and Teams integration, with collaboration across stakeholders to deliver engaging digital workplace experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online.
• Proven experience deploying Microsoft Viva Amplify in enterprise environments.
• Experience implementing Microsoft Viva Connections.
• Strong expertise in designing and deploying SharePoint Communication Sites.
• Hands‑on experience developing custom Viva Connections Dashboard Cards using SPFx, ACE, Card Views, Quick Views.
• Strong development experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, React, HTML5, CSS3.
• Experience packaging, deploying, and maintaining SPFx solutions.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Graph API and Microsoft Teams integration.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and optimize Microsoft Viva Amplify and Viva Connections to deliver enterprise-wide communication and engagement.
• Design modern intranet experiences with SharePoint Online and SPFx.

Role Overview

As a Microsoft Viva Amplify & Communication Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and optimizing Microsoft Viva Amplify and Microsoft Viva Connections to deliver enterprise-wide communication and engagement solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders, communications teams, and technical architects to build modern intranet experiences, streamline internal communications, and improve employee engagement across Microsoft 365.

This role combines expertise in Microsoft Viva, SharePoint Online, SPFx development, and modern communication platforms to create scalable, secure, and engaging employee experiences.

Microsoft Viva Implementation

• Deploy and configure Microsoft Viva Amplify and Microsoft Viva Connections for enterprise customers.
• Configure communication campaigns, publishing workflows, audience targeting, and content distribution.
• Design and implement employee communication strategies using Microsoft Viva capabilities.
• Configure Viva Connections dashboards, navigation, and personalized employee experiences.

SharePoint Communication Solutions

• Design, build, and maintain modern SharePoint Communication Sites.
• Configure and manage SharePoint News, news publishing, audience targeting, and content lifecycle.
• Develop communication portals and intranet experiences aligned with business and branding requirements.
• Ensure accessibility, governance, and performance best practices are followed.

Custom Development

• Build custom Viva Connections Dashboard Cards using:
• SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
• Adaptive Card Extensions (ACE)
• Card Views
• Quick Views
• Develop reusable SPFx components for communication and employee engagement scenarios.
• Integrate Viva and SharePoint solutions with Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Graph where required.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Partner with Internal Communications, HR, Digital Workplace, and IT teams to understand communication requirements.
• Provide recommendations for improving employee engagement using Microsoft Viva technologies.
• Conduct workshops, demonstrations, and user adoption sessions.
• Prepare technical documentation, deployment guides, and knowledge transfer materials.

Governance & Support

• Implement governance and best practices for Microsoft Viva and SharePoint communication platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Viva, SharePoint Online, and SPFx solutions.
• Stay up to date with Microsoft 365 roadmap, Viva enhancements, and emerging collaboration technologies.
