Qualifications

• Must have 15+ years in Data Engineering / Data Architecture.
• Architect-level Microsoft Fabric experience across multiple projects/implementations.
• Strong hands‑on understanding of OneLake, Lakehouse, Fabric Data Factory, Fabric Warehouse and Power BI/Semantic Models.
• Strong Python, PySpark and advanced SQL.
• Strong ETL/ELT, data modelling, data warehousing and distributed-data performance.
• Proven experience owning architecture decisions, roadmap, technical debt and cross-team dependencies.
• Strong stakeholder communication and technical leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the Microsoft Fabric architecture roadmap and standards across workstreams.
• Design end-to-end Fabric solutions covering OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory, Spark/Data Engineering and BI models.
• Lead architecture decisions and manage technical debt for scalable Fabric implementations.
• Define data models, ETL/ELT patterns, integration frameworks and semantic layers.
• Coordinate dependencies across engineering teams and translate requirements into scalable architectures.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver architecture that scales.
• Provide technical leadership on Fabric, Azure and data engineering best practices.

Microsoft Fabric Data Architect

We are looking for a Senior Microsoft Fabric Data Architect to own the architecture and strategic direction of enterprise Microsoft Fabric data platforms across multiple projects and teams.

Key Responsibilities :

• Own the Microsoft Fabric architecture roadmap, architecture standards and technology decisions across multiple workstreams.
• Design end-to-end Fabric solutions covering OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory, Spark/Data Engineering and Power BI semantic models.
• Lead architecture decisions, manage technical debt and ensure consistency, scalability and performance across Fabric implementations.
• Define data architecture, data models, ETL/ELT patterns, integration frameworks and semantic/consumption layers.
• Coordinate dependencies across multiple engineering teams and guide delivery toward the target architecture.
• Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data architecture.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on Fabric, Azure, data engineering and architecture best practices.

Must-Have :

• 15+ years in Data Engineering / Data Architecture / Solution Architecture.
• Architect-level Microsoft Fabric experience across multiple projects/implementations.
• Strong hands‑on understanding of OneLake, Lakehouse, Fabric Data Factory, Fabric Warehouse and Power BI/Semantic Models.
• Strong Python, PySpark and advanced SQL.

Good to Have

• Direct Lake, Medallion Architecture, Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, Data Governance, Security, CI/CD and AI/Analytics.
• Oracle EBS exposure is an advantage.
