Job summary

Crowe Capability Center – India seeks a senior Dynamics 365 F&O Engineer to drive development and support in a hands-on role while mentoring junior teammates. You will collaborate with global teams to deliver enterprise-scale Dynamics solutions and enhancements.

The role requires 8+ years of D365 F&O experience, strong X++ and CI/CD skills, and the ability to interface with stakeholders across time zones. This is a manager-level, hands-on position within Crowe’s India delivery center.

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on experience in Dynamics 365 F&O development and support, including X++, LCS, debugging, and data entity integrations.
• Strong experience identifying and resolving performance, functional, and integration issues across the F&O stack (SQL DB, AOS, services, SSRS).
• Proficient in X++ development, OOP principles, performance optimization, and scalable design.
• Experience with source control and CI/CD pipelines (Git, Azure DevOps).
• Strong analytical skills, structured problem-solving approach, and strong attention to detail.
• Excellent English communication skills with the ability to interface directly with global stakeholders.
• Ability to operate with moderate supervision and take ownership of assigned tasks.
• The ideal candidate must be flexible and willing to work varying shifts between 2:30 PM and 5:30 AM.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support in troubleshooting and resolving D365 F&O issues.
• Contribute to technical design sessions, code development, peer reviews, and deployment planning.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve system defects and data inconsistencies to ensure system stability.
• Support monitoring of system performance and proactively help maintain optimal system health.
• Implement minor-to-medium complexity enhancements, bug fixes, and integrations.
• Assist in developing and maintaining integrations leveraging Power Platform, Azure Logic Apps, or related Microsoft cloud services.
• Utilize telemetry, monitoring tools, and analytical insights to troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and improve reliability.
• Own incident resolution workflows, ensuring accurate documentation and timely stakeholder updates.
• Contribute to internal knowledge assets such as SOPs, troubleshooting guides, and operational runbooks.
• Support automation initiatives for deployments, environment refreshes, and operational tasks using DevOps practices.
• Actively explore new features and capabilities across Dynamics 365 and the Microsoft Cloud ecosystem.
• Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions, team learning, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Coordinate effectively with cross-regional technical and functional teams.

Job Description:

We are looking for a technically strong and motivated Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Engineer who brings hands‑on expertise and a willingness to broaden into adjacent Microsoft technologies such as Power Platform and Azure. This role is ideal for professionals with 5+ years of experience who are ready to step into a manager‑level capacity—driving technical support, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to solution delivery while remaining deeply involved in hands‑on work.

As part of our India-based delivery team, you will collaborate closely with global teams to deliver high-quality support and enhancements across enterprise‑scale Dynamics implementations.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Focus – Dynamics 365 F&O Development & Support

• Provide strong, hands‑on support in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues within D365 F&O environments.
• Contribute to technical design sessions, code development, peer reviews, and deployment planning.
