Job summary

Bureau Veritas | Marine & Offshore is seeking a Microbiologist to perform daily microbiological analysis of food, water and environmental samples in Navi Mumbai, with 2–7 years’ experience. The role includes document control, calibration follow-ups and NABL audit readiness.

The ideal candidate will hold a BSc/MSc in Chemistry, strong English documentation skills and a proactive attitude towards quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' related experience in a microbiology/lood chemistry lab.
• Ability to read procedures in English and follow ISO/QA instructions.
• NABL audit exposure preferred and FSSAI/Food safety knowledge helpful.

Responsibilities

• Collect training samples and assist sampling&testing of materials.
• Assist extraction and analysis of samples; textile/leather RSL parameter work.
• Handle instrument analysis with appropriate technique.
• Prepare samples and perform testing as per protocol.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with ISO 17025.

JD-

• Daily analysis of Microbiological Samples of Food water and Environment. Required experience 2-7 years.
• Daily monitoring of log books and calibration .
• Need to do documentation as per ISO 17025 requirement.
• Need to perform work as per the requirement and assigned by HOD.
• Must have knowledge to face NABL audit.

6 . FSSAI Certified Food Analyst will be preferred
