Job summary

Talent Nexus in Vadodara, Gujarat seeks a field operations associate to establish lending activities in new villages and manage end-to-end process from village selection to collections. The role involves forming Joint Liability Groups, performing KYC, and coordinating disbursement activities with MC-IC.

The ideal candidate will execute validation of villages, train field staff, and ensure timely collection of dues and updates to MERC records, supporting growth in rural markets.

Responsibilities

• Starting business in a new village and identifying a suitable village within the radius.
• Sourcing of business: identify customers, form Joint Liability Groups, fill forms, and conduct KYC verifications.
• Disbursements: collect KYC documents and complete loan documentation with MC-IC.
• Collection of current dues: manage collection sheets, group-wise collection, deposit money, MERC entry.
• Collection of over dues: follow up with customers, collect money per process, deposit funds, MERC entry and assist in actions against defaulters.

Roles & Responsibility

1. 1. Starting business in a new village
   1. a. Village identification within the radius
   2. b. Feasibility study of the village based on demographics, activities and financial needs of the customers
   3. c. Assist the MC-IC in making the village approval
2. 2. Sourcing of business
   1. a. Identification of customers and forming of Joint Liability Groups
   2. b. Filling up of the application form
   3. c. Verification of the residence and business of the customer
   4. d. KYC verification
   5. e. Pre-disbursement training
   6. f. Visiting potential customers in order to develop business
3. 3. Disbursements
   1. a. Collection of KYC documents
   2. b. Assisting the MC-IC for disbursement activity completion
   3. c. Loan documentation
4. 4. Collection of current dues
   1. a. Collect the collection sheets and stickers from MC-IC
   2. b. Group-wise collection as per scheduled time by following the process
   3. c. Deposit of collection money
   4. d. MERC entry
5. 5. Collection of over dues
   1. a. Follow up with the customers with updated data report of assigned portfolio
   2. b. Collection of money as per process
   3. c. Depositing the money in bank
   4. d. MERC entry
   5. e. Assist the MC-IC in initiating action against the defaulters
