Larsen & Toubro (L&T) invites applications for a Micro Loan Officer - Field Officer to extend lending in rural pockets of Tamil Nadu. The role involves village outreach, assessing financial needs, and forming Joint Liability Groups to facilitate micro loans.

Responsibilities include sourcing, pre-disbursement training, loan documentation, and ongoing collection activities for a growing portfolio. Candidates must be ready to start early and hold a valid two-wheeler license.

Qualifications

• Must have interest in sales and collections.
• Two-wheeler (Driving License / LLR) mandatory.
• Pan Card holder.
• Age 21 Years to 32 Years.
• Willing to start the day at 6:30 AM.

Responsibilities

• Starting business in a new village including identifying villages within the radius and feasibility study based on demographics and financial needs of customers.
• Sourcing of business: identify customers and form Joint Liability Groups, fill applications, verify residence and business, perform KYC checks, and pre-disbursement training.
• Disbursements: collect KYC documents, assist in disbursement, complete loan documentation.
• Collection of current dues: collect sheets, collect money as per schedule, deposit money, MERC entry.
• Collection of overdues: follow up with customers using updated data report, collect money, deposit, MERC entry, assist in action against defaulters.

Role - Micro Loan Officer - Field Officer

Reporting To Branch Manager

1. Starting business in a new village
   1. Village identification within the radius
   2. Feasibility study of the village based on demographics, activities and financial needs of
      the customers
   3. Assist the MC-IC in making the village approval
2. Sourcing of business
   1. Identification of customers and forming of Joint Liability Groups
   2. Filling up of the application form
   3. Verification of the residence and business of the customer
   4. KYC verification
   5. Pre-disbursement training
   6. Visiting potential customers in order to develop business
3. Disbursements
   1. Collection of KYC documents
   2. Assisting the MC-IC for disbursement activity completion
   3. Loan documentation
4. 4. Collection of current dues
   1. Collect the collection sheets and stickers from MC-IC
   2. Group-wise collection as per scheduled time by following the process
   3. Deposit of collection money
   4. MERC entry
5. 5. Collection of over dues
   1. Follow up with the customers with updated data report of assigned portfolio
   2. Collection of money as per process
   3. Depositing the money in bank
   4. MERC entry
   5. Assist the MC-IC in initiating action against the defaulters
