Job summary

Bajaj Auto Limited is seeking a Control & Automation Engineer in Maharashtra to lead machine proving, electrical design, and fault diagnosis for assembly and commissioning. The role requires strong PLC/HMI skills with Mitsubishi and Siemens platforms, plus safety standard knowledge.

The candidate will work on industrial protocols, IoT devices, and on-site support, collaborating with customers and internal teams to ensure seamless automation across production lines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in control & automation.
• Desirable graduate in Electrical/Electronics.
• Experience with machine proving, electrical design, and fault diagnosis.

Responsibilities

• Machine assembly & commissioning engineer responsibilities.
• Proficient in Mitsubishi FX5U/iQ-R PLC & HMI logic development.
• Knowledge of ISO 13849 safety standards, interlocks, and quality systems.
• RS-232, analog I/O, and PLC-robot integration.
• Familiar with EtherNet/IP, CC-Link, CC-Link IE, Modbus/TCP protocols.
• Experience with IO-Link, RFID sensors, vision systems, and IoT devices.
• Industry 4.0, MES, and smart automation solutions.
• Robot programming for Fanuc/Mitsubishi and auto-cycle integration.
• Python for automation, data handling, and diagnostics.
• Strong customer interaction and on-site support skills.
