Job summary

TE Connectivity seeks a Manager, Software Engineering (LabVIEW / Test Systems) in Bengaluru to lead the development of advanced test and calibration software for sensor products across Automotive and Industrial markets.

You will drive LabVIEW-based architectures, data acquisition, calibration platforms, and standardized test solutions across global labs and manufacturing sites, ensuring quality and efficiency in validation and production testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or related field.
• 16 to 20 years of experience in test system development and LabVIEW-based architectures.
• Strong expertise in LabVIEW development and architecture, preferably certified.
• Experience with data acquisition, instrumentation and CAN/I2C protocols.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma, IATF 16949 and ISO 17025.
• Proven ability to lead global cross-functional teams in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the India-based LabVIEW software team.
• Develop modular, scalable LabVIEW frameworks for data acquisition and test execution.
• Oversee calibration algorithms and data processing for sensor validation.
• Architect and deploy high-throughput EOL testers for manufacturing sites.
• Ensure traceability, repeatability and accuracy of test results across sites.

Job Overview

As a Manager, Software Engineering (LabVIEW / Test Systems), you will lead the development of advanced test, calibration, and End-of-Line (EOL) software platforms for TE’s sensor products across Automotive and Industrial & Commercial Transportation markets.

This role is focused on LabVIEW-based test system architecture, data acquisition, automation, and calibration platforms, enabling high-quality validation and efficient manufacturing testing.

You will build and lead a high-performing engineering team, working closely with global product development, test engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams. You will drive scalable, standardized test solutions aligned with Lean Product Development, DFSS, and global validation standards.

Test Systems & LabVIEW Engineering

• Develop standardized solutions for global deployment across test labs and manufacturing sites
• Integrate hardware components (DAQs, sensors, actuators, environmental chambers, etc.) with software

Calibration & EOL Test Development

• Lead development of sensor calibration methodologies and automated routines
• Design and deploy high-throughput, robust EOL testers for manufacturing environments
• Ensure traceability, repeatability, and accuracy of test results across sites
• Collaborate with product engineering teams for sensor characterization and validation strategies

Desired Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field

• 16 to 20 years of experience in:
• Test system development (LabVIEW strongly preferred)
• Sensor validation, calibration, and manufacturing test
• Strong expertise in:
• LabVIEW application development and architecture (preferably Certified)
• Data acquisition systems and instrumentation with SENT, PWM, I2C, Analog, CAN protocol
• Test automation frameworks
• Experience with:
• Calibration and characterization of sensors
• EOL tester development in production environments
• Knowledge of:
• Statistical analysis tools (Minitab or equivalent)
• Six Sigma methodologies (MSA, ANOVA, capability analysis)
• Experience with quality and regulatory standards:
• IATF 16949, ISO 17025
• Proven experience working with global, cross-functional teams

What Your Background Should Look Like

Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with a minimum of 8 years of experience; Masters degree or higher or local equivalent may be preferred at this level
