Job summary

Lam India Data Science & Analytics is seeking a leader to drive enterprise analytics, automation, and AI/ML initiatives across Global Operations, Product groups, and Customer Service. You will shape analytics strategy and build high-performing teams to deliver scalable solutions aligned with business needs.

You will oversee multiple sub-teams, manage agile delivery, and collaborate with stakeholders to optimize data models and insights. Azure-based solutions and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading analytics teams.
• Experience in Hi-Tech, semiconductor, or manufacturing industries is preferred.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise analytics, AI/ML solutions at global scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple analytics sub-teams across Data Engineering, Data Science, Automation, Application Development, Data Analysis, and Data Architecture.
• Own analytics delivery for Product Groups (Deposition, Etching) and Global Operations (Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering Services, Spares Operations) and Customer Service.
• Build and develop high-performing teams through talent development, performance management, coaching, and capability building.
• Drive delivery excellence by meeting KPIs such as cycle time, first-time-right, quality, and operational stability; partner with stakeholders to provide actionable insights.
• Lead council and sprint planning meetings; maintain a transparent backlog and ensure agile delivery.
• Guide the team in designing AI/ML and automation solutions using cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
• Monitor production systems, address data health issues, and deliver executive presentations.

In this role, you will lead Lam India’s Data Science & Analytics teams to deliver enterprise-wide analytics, automation, and AI/ML solutions that accelerate decision‑making across Business function (Global Operations, Product groups). You will shape the future of Lam’s analytics capabilities by building high‑performing teams, driving technical excellence, and enabling scalable, impactful solutions aligned with business needs.

What you’ll do

• Lead council and sprint planning meetings; maintain a transparent, prioritized backlog and ensure effective agile delivery. Collaborate with business analysts, business program teams, and IT to define requirements, standardize data models, and ensure single-source‑of‑truth data.
• Guide the team in designing AI/ML, advanced analytics, and automation solutions using cloud platforms (Azure preferred). Provide hands‑on direction for complex problem-solving, ad‑hoc analysis, quick PoCs, and cross‑functional issue resolution.
• Monitor production systems, drive corrective and preventive actions, and proactively address data health issues. Create and deliver executive‑level presentations, recommendations, and updates to stakeholders.

Drive delivery excellence by meeting KPIs such as cycle time, first-time-right, quality, and operational stability. Partner with business stakeholders to provide actionable insights, influence decision‑making, and shape problem statements for optimal outcomes.
• Lead council and sprint planning meetings; maintain a transparent, prioritized backlog and ensure effective agile delivery. Collaborate with business analysts, business program teams, and IT to define requirements, standardize data models, and ensure single-source‑of‑truth data.

Evaluate and adopt modern analytics technologies, tools, frameworks, and AI advancements to strengthen the organization’s capabilities.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in Hi-Tech, semiconductor, or manufacturing industries.
• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark.
• Expertise in prompt engineering and leveraging modern AI/ML platforms.
• Track record of implementing advanced analytics, AI/ML/DL solutions at global scale.

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on‑site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On‑site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'Virtual Flex' you’ll work 1-2 days per week on‑site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
