Job summary

HOERBIGER Automatisierungstechnik Holding GmbH is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to transform engineering designs into production-ready SAP routings and optimized CNC programs in its India operations.

You will collaborate with Design Engineering, CAM, and Tooling to ensure manufacturing readiness, drive time studies, cost data accuracy, and continuous improvement across lean initiatives and NPD activities.

Qualifications

• Experience translating drawings to SAP routings and standard times.
• Proficiency in machining, assembly, and production methods.
• Knowledge of PFMEA, MSA, DOE and lean improvement.

Responsibilities

• Translate engineering drawings into SAP routings with optimized operation sequences.
• Coordinate CNC programming activities and ensure manufacturing readiness.
• Conduct time studies and validate process standards to improve productivity.
• Define manufacturing methods early in new product development.
• Contribute to accurate product costing and data maintenance.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and value-stream improvements across the plant.

Job description

Drive manufacturing excellence by transforming engineering designs into efficient, cost-effective, and production-ready processes. You will bridge design and manufacturing by developing optimized SAP routings, coordinating CNC programming activities, establishing standard operating procedures, and continuously improving process efficiency, quality, and productivity.

How you will make a difference

• Translate engineering drawings into accurate SAP routings with optimized operation sequences and standard times.
• Ensure manufacturing readiness through close collaboration with Design Engineering, Tool Engineering, and CAM Programming teams.
• Improve productivity by conducting time studies and validating process standards.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, reduce costs, and improve process stability.
• Optimize machining, assembly, setup, and clamping processes to support operational excellence.Contribute to new product development by defining manufacturing methods at an early stage.
• Help maintain accurate product costing and standard COGS through reliable routing and process data.
• Support Lean Manufacturing practices and value-stream improvements across the plant.
