Head of R&D

Responsibilities:

1. Develop goals and strategies to ensure the IT department runs smoothly and effectively.
2. Direct and establish IT-related projects.
3. Monitor changes in the technology sector to discover ways the company can improve and develop.
4. Supervise the networks and computer systems in the company to ensure optimal performance.
5. Plan and direct the implementation of new IT systems.
6. Manage and control long-term costs of IT systems.
7. Provide leadership to IT specialists and other staff within the company.
8. Provide and implement best practices in IT governance.
9. Design and maintain the security policy exception and violation process.
10. Create and adapt technological platforms to improve the client experience.
11. Troubleshoot data-related issues and establish regular maintenance.
12. Respond to any requests and issues on a timely basis.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in information technology, computer science, computer engineering, or relevant field.
2. 8-10 years of experience in IT-related roles and at least 3 years in a leadership position.
3. In-depth knowledge of data administration and management processes.
4. Good understanding of modern databases and information system technologies.
5. Good technical knowledge and hands-on experience in Linux and/or Windows Operating Systems administration, systems related security, automation, and operational tools, as well as cloud computing models and services.
6. Possesses qualifications or certifications in management within a corporate environment will be an advantage.
7. Able to adopt an analytical and strategic thinking approach to developing innovative infrastructure design that meets business requirements.

Job Types: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

Salary: ₹700,000.00 – ₹2,000,000.00 per year
