Job summary

Very Much Indian, a Shark Tank–funded brand reviving heritage sarees for the new generation, is seeking a Social Media Manager to lead our digital storytelling and product narrative across channels. You'll coordinate with design, production, and commerce teams to align merchandising, track trends, and drive launches while maintaining sharp attention to detail.

Ideal candidates bring 2–4 years in fashion merchandising, strong communication, and expert Excel/Sheets skills to manage fast-paced

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of merchandising experience in fashion, apparel or textiles.
• Strong understanding of fabrics, products and fashion trends.
• Good analytical and communication skills.
• Sharp attention to detail and strong follow-up.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage product planning and merchandising across collections.
• Coordinate with design, production, inventory, and operations teams.
• Track product development, sampling, and production timelines.
• Maintain product details, SKU data, and inventory coordination.
• Analyse sales trends and customer preferences to guide product planning.
• Support assortment planning, pricing, and product launches.
• Liaise with weavers, vendors, and internal teams for timely execution.
• Monitor stock levels and flag fast- and slow-moving products.

Backed by the craftsmanship of 4,000+ weavers across 8 states, we bring authentic handloom silk and cotton sarees to modern India.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage product planning and merchandising across collections
• Coordinate with design, production, inventory, and operations teams
• Track product development, sampling, and production timelines
• Maintain product details, SKU data, and inventory coordination
• Analyse sales trends and customer preferences to guide product planning
• Support assortment planning, pricing, and product launches
• Liaise with weavers, vendors, and internal teams for timely execution
• Monitor stock levels and flag fast- and slow-moving products

What We're Looking For
