Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of MEP installations (HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, Electrical) to ensure compliance with design specs and quality standards.
• Review and approve work methodologies, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and checklists submitted by contractors.
• Monitor material deliveries, storage, and handling; approve Material Inspection Requests (MIRs).
• Supervise testing and commissioning of MEP systems before handover.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with local/international codes (e.g., IS Codes, NBC, IEC).
• Conduct factory inspections and report findings to project management.
• Lead toolbox talks and technical training sessions for site staff.
• Track and close non-conformance reports (NCRs) and snags.
• Maintain calibration records for testing equipment.

Preferred candidate profile

"MEP QC Engineer with 5 years of experience. Candidates with a B.E. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering will be preferred."
