Job summary

Univastu India LTD is seeking an Electrical MEP Engineer in Mumbai with 5–7 years of experience to execute, supervise, and coordinate electrical E&M works for 2–3 metro stations under Metro Line 4. The role requires strong knowledge of HT/LT distribution and the ability to manage multiple stations simultaneously.

You will liaise with Station Managers and the central E&M team to ensure quality, safety, and timely project completion. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in Metro/Railway or large infrastructure E&M projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of station electrical systems and HT/LT distribution.
• Ability to manage multiple stations simultaneously.
• Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Electrical Execution & Supervision: Execute HT/LT panels, transformers, cable laying, lighting, earthing, and related electrical works for assigned metro stations.
• Multi-Station Coordination: Manage electrical execution across 2–3 stations simultaneously while coordinating with Station Managers and the central E&M team.
• Planning & Quantity Control: Prepare material requirements, track deliveries, and support project planning schedules.
• Quality & Commissioning: Ensure installations comply with drawings, ITPs, and quality standards and assist in testing and handover.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to metro electrical safety standards and site safety practices.

Job Description:

The Electrical MEP Engineer will be responsible for execution, supervision, and coordination of Electrical E&M works for 2–3 metro stations (as assigned) under Metro Line 4, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, safety norms, and project timelines

Qualifications:

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering

Knowledge and Skills:

• Experience in Metro/Railway or large infrastructure E&M projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of station electrical systems and HT/LT distribution. Ability to manage multiple stations simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

• Electrical Execution & Supervision: Execute HT/LT panels, transformers, cable laying, lighting, earthing, and related electrical works for assigned metro stations. Supervise subcontractors and monitor daily progress as per approved drawings, BOQ, and method statements.
• Multi-Station Coordination :Manage electrical execution across 2–3 stations simultaneously while coordinating with Station Managers and the central E&M team. Ensure smooth interface with Civil, HVAC, Fire Fighting, and other MEP disciplines.
• Planning & Quantity Control:Prepare material requirements, track deliveries, and support project planning schedules. Verify subcontractor bills and monitor executed quantities against BOQ.
• Quality & Commissioning:Ensure installations comply with approved shop drawings, ITPs, and quality standards while maintaining proper documentation. Assist in testing, commissioning, and punch point closure for final handover.
• Safety Compliance:Ensure strict adherence to metro electrical safety standards and site safety practices. Conduct toolbox talks and promote safe execution at all assigned stations.
