# MEL and Research InternOpenINTERNSHIPSTUDENT10x Impact LabsAll jobs## About this roleWe are looking for a full-time MEL and Research Intern to support our work across research, monitoring, evaluation, learning, and data-driven social impact projects.This role is ideal for someone who is curious about the development sector, enjoys working with data and field insights, and wants hands-on exposure to how research and MEL systems are designed for real-world social impact programs.You will work closely with the 10x Impact Labs team on research design, qualitative and quantitative analysis, documentation, synthesis, presentations, and AI-enabled research workflows.This is a good fit for a recent graduate or early-career professional who wants to build strong foundations in MEL, research, social impact consulting, and applied technology.## Responsibilities1. Research and MEL Support● Support the design of research tools such as interview guides, survey forms,observation checklists, and discussion guides● Assist in qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods research assignments● Support literature reviews, secondary research, and evidence synthesis● Help organize, clean, and structure research data for analysis● Support the preparation of MEL frameworks, indicators, learning questions, andreporting formats2. Data Analysis and Insight Building● Assist in coding and analyzing qualitative data from interviews, focus groupdiscussions, and field notes● Support basic quantitative analysis using spreadsheets or other analytical tools● Identify patterns, themes, and insights from primary and secondary data● Translate research findings into clear summaries, briefs, decks, and reports● Support the team in building practical recommendations for non-profits and social impact organizations3. AI, Tools, and Documentation● Use AI tools to support research synthesis, content structuring, data cleaning,documentation, and knowledge management● Create clean and structured documents, trackers, templates, and presentationmaterial● Support visual communication using tools such as Canva, Google Slides,PowerPoint, and similar platforms● Help convert complex research findings into simple, user-friendly formats● Contribute to internal knowledge products, toolkits, case studies, and learningresources4.
