Job summary

DRISHTI EYE INSTITUTE in Dehradun seeks an urgent Medical Retina Specialist with MS/DNB Ophthalmology and Fellowship in Medical Retina to lead retina OPD and complex retinal care.

You will diagnose and manage DR, RVO, AMD, and detachments, perform injections and lasers, and collaborate with subspecialty teams to deliver high-quality eye care in a busy centre.

Qualifications

• MS/DNB Ophthalmology degree is required.
• Fellowship in Medical Retina is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Retina OPD consultations and comprehensive retinal evaluations.
• Diagnose and manage diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusion, AMD, and retinal detachment.
• Perform intravitreal injections and retinal laser procedures.
• Interpret OCT, FFA, Fundus Photography, and B-Scan findings.
• Manage retinal emergencies and post-operative follow-up care.
• Counsel patients regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and prognosis.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure high standards of patient care.
• Coordinate with Cataract, Glaucoma, Cornea, and General Ophthalmology teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Retina OPD consultations and comprehensive retinal evaluations
• Diagnose and manage diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusion, age-related macular degeneration (AMD), retinal detachment.
• Perform Intravitreal Injections, Retinal Laser procedures
• Interpret OCT, Fundus Fluorescein Angiography (FFA), Fundus Photography, and B-Scan findings
• Manage retinal emergencies and post-operative follow-up care
• Counsel patients regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and prognosis
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure high standards of patient care
• Coordinate with Cataract, Glaucoma, Cornea, and General Ophthalmology teams for multidisciplinary care
