Job summary

Narayana Health in Delhi is seeking a Medical Physics professional to contribute to radiation therapy programs. You will evaluate instruments, optimize treatment planning, and ensure accurate dose delivery within stringent safety standards.

You will collaborate with oncologists and radiologists, support quality control, and lead training on radiation safety and advances in medical physics to improve patient care and treatment outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop radiation instruments and procedures
• Optimize physical and technical aspects of radiation treatments
• Assure accurate measurement and delivery of radiation doses
• Implement and monitor quality control and safety protocols in radiation use
• Collaborate with oncologists and radiologists in simulation, importing scans, image registration, planning and patient treatment implementation
• Ensure radiation protection for patients, staff and the public
• Conduct research to enhance treatment methods and develop new technologies
• Provide education and training on radiation safety and medical physics to healthcare staff
• Maintain knowledge of advances in medical physics and radiation therapy
• Participate in training programs to update professional knowledge
