Medical Officer is responsible for providing safe, timely, ethical and evidence-based patient care in accordance with hospital policies and NABH 6th Edition standards. The Medical Officer shall conduct initial assessment and periodic reassessment of patients, document history, examination findings, diagnosis, treatment plan and progress notes accurately, prescribe medications safely, review investigations and critical results, identify clinical deterioration and promptly escalated to the concerned consultant.
Preference should be given to candidates having 1-3 years of clinical experience in a multispecialty hospital, with exposure to emergency, ward and critical care services. The candidate should have sound knowledge of patient assessment, emergency management, medication safety, infection prevention and control, clinical documentation, patient rights and hospital quality and safety practices. BLS certification is desirable and ACLS certification is preferred, particularly for candidates posted in Emergency or ICU areas.
