Responsibilities

• Manage the hospital’s physical and digital medical library resources, databases, and subscriptions
• Catalog and classify medical journals, e-books, theses, and clinical guidelines using library management systems
• Train hospital staff and students in literature search strategies and use of online knowledge databases
• Maintain access to national/international journals, e-resources, and subscription renewals
• Assist with research support services like citation tracking, reference management, and literature reviews
• Ensure copyright compliance and digital archiving of research materials, presentations, and reports
• Collaborate with the education and clinical research teams for information dissemination
• Maintain statistics on library usage, digital access logs, and report to the Education Director
• Provide orientation for interns, residents, and fellows on using library tools and systems
