Job summary

McGraw Hill is seeking a Senior Medical Education Consultant in India. You will align medical schools, hospitals, and pharma content with our medical education solutions while traveling across the country.

You’ll engage with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to position McGraw Hill as a trusted partner in medical and clinical education. You bring a medical degree (MD/MBBS), 5–8 years of post-master’s/PhD experience in medicine and education, and strong English communication.

• Medical degree required; PhD strongly preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience after a master’s/PhD.
• Background in medicine and clinical/medical education.
• Strong knowledge of India’s medical education sector and curricula.
• Excellent communication and English proficiency.
• Travel-ready with ability to work across teams.
• Proficiency with MS Office and online presentation tools.

Responsibilities

• Support the India sales team in identifying Navigator opportunities in medical schools and institutions.
• Explain curriculum mapping outcomes and alignment with learning objectives.
• Help faculty use mapped content in their courses.
• Support pharmaceutical partners with content alignment across divisions.
• Develop opportunities for McGraw Hill medical platforms in schools and hospitals.
• Collaborate with academic staff and leadership to align solutions with goals.
• Work with product teams to identify content gaps and ensure standards.
• Serve as the medical education contact for stakeholders and teams.
• Present at advisory boards, VIP events, visits, and webinars.
• Coordinate delivery of medical education projects with MH Professional.

How are you creating an impact?

You will use your clinical and educational expertise to support academic institutions and pharmaceutical partners in India and across international regions. Working closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams, you will help position McGraw Hill as a trusted partner in medical and clinical education.

What will you be doing?

• Support the India sales team in identifying and developing opportunities for Navigator within medical schools and academic institutions, aligned with their curriculum needs and institutional priorities
• Engage faculty and curriculum leaders after the sale, explaining curriculum mapping outcomes and showing how mapped resources align with program learning outcomes, course objectives, and teaching activities
• Help faculty make effective use of mapped content in their courses
• Support pharmaceutical partners with medical and clinical education content alignment across divisions, ensuring materials are scientifically accurate and aligned with therapeutic areas, drug portfolios, and commercial and marketing objectives
• Develop opportunities for McGraw Hill medical platforms (such as Access platforms and Boards & Beyond) within medical schools and hospitals, demonstrating their value in teaching and learning, clinical decision-making, team-based learning, problem-based learning, and diagnostic reasoning
• Collaborate closely with academic staff and institutional leadership to align McGraw Hill solutions with institutional goals
• Work with product teams to identify content gaps and align educational materials with scientific standards, clinical relevance, and therapeutic priorities
• Act as the key medical education point of contact for external academic stakeholders and internal teams
• Participate in and present at company events such as advisory boards, VIP events, institutional visits, and webinars
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of medical education projects, and work with fellow clinical education specialists across MH Professional

We are looking for someone having:

• A medical degree (MD/MBBS); a PhD is strongly preferred, ideally with an educational qualification or academic experience
• At least 5–8 years of experience after a master’s/PhD
• A background in both medicine and clinical/medical education
• Strong knowledge of the medical and clinical education sector in India, and a solid understanding of medical curricula in general and Indian curricula in particular
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in English
• Strong creative and critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to build trusted relationships with customers and with global colleagues across regions
• Ability to work effectively across teams and manage a travel-sensitive workload
• Comfort travelling across India
• Proficiency in MS Office and online presentation tools (Zoom, MS Teams, etc.)
