Perceptiviti is seeking a Medical Coding Analyst to blend clinical coding expertise with payment policy. You will work with internal teams to research guidelines from AMA, CMS and other sources to help build new product features for the rule engine.

The role offers a collaborative environment with no night shifts and opportunities to transition from BPO to a DeepTech startup, contributing to growth and innovation within the Internal Solutions and Product teams.

Qualifikationen

• Certified medical coder (CPC, CCS or equivalent) with at least 1 year of multispecialty coding.
• Graduate with Medical degree (BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BPT) or Diploma in Specialties.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on ICD/CPT/HCPCS coding including E&M, Surgery multispecialty.
• Experience or knowledge of billing/denial management and US Healthcare payment processes.
• Experience analyzing large medical datasets in Excel using PivotTables and formulas/functions.
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative team setting and have fun along the way.
• CPC Certification is a must for this role.

Job Summary

We are currently seeking a Medical Coding Analyst to support a growing client base while combining their clinical and/or coding expertise with payment policy. The medical coding analyst is a key member of the Internal Solutions team and Product Team, as well a key contributor, and works closely with the internal solutions team and assist Senior medical coding analyst in research to bring new solution features/medical rules for the rule engine based on medical coding guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Ability to collaborate with technical teams and coding/billing functional teams for new medical rule requirement or change to existing medical rule requirement.
• Support Senior Medical Coding Analyst in research on policy guidelines, coding practices and policies from AMA, CMS and other sources as applicable from time to time to develop new Product.
• Support Internal Solutions team in managing the Rule engine library and updates.
• Ensures changes to rule sets are accurate, complete and are finished in a timely manner including documentation of notable changes.
• Support and align efforts to meet customer and business needs.

Key Qualifications and Experience

• Certified medical coder (CPC, CCS or equivalent) preferably with a clinical background with minimum 1 year of experience in Coding including multispecialty coding.
• Preferably Graduate with Medical degree (BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BPT; Diploma in Specialties).
• Minimum 1 year of hands‑on experience in ICD/CPT/HCPCS coding including E&M, Surgery multispecialty utilizing various guidelines from AMA, CMS and AHA.
• Experience or knowledge of billing process/denial management and overall payment process of US Healthcare.
• Experience in analysing large medical data sets in Excel using Pivot tables and excel formulas/functions.
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative team setting and have fun along the way.
• Must Have Qualifications: CPC Certification is a must have qualification for this role.
