Job summary

Hyrix in Hyderabad-Gopanapalli is hiring medical coders for a full-time office-based role. Coder will handle E&M (OP/IP), Surgery and Denials coding, and review patient charts and discharge summaries to assign CPT/ICD codes.

Night shift availability and cab facility are provided; evening/night shifts required, with training and support from the team. Qualifications include CPC/CPC-A/COC/CCS-P/CCA certification and 1–5 years of experience in medical coding, including denial coding across

Qualifications

• Certified coders required: CPC/CPC-A/COC/CCS-P/CCA (Mandatory).
• Specialization of E&M OP/IP/Surgery/Denials.
• 2+ years experience in Denial coding in multi-specialties.
• Experience 1–5 years in medical coding.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate medical coding for E&M (OP/IP), Surgery, and Denial management cases per client guidelines.
• Review patient charts, clinical documentation, operative notes, and discharge summaries.
• Review denied claims to identify root causes of denials.
• Analyze medical records to verify coding accuracy.
• Assign CPT/ICD codes based on documentation.
• Ensure coding compliance with industry standards (AAPC, CMS, ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS).
• Meet productivity, quality, and turnaround time goals while maintaining accuracy.
• Stay updated with coding guideline changes and payer policies.
