Job summary

Qualifications

• MBBS with MD in Pharmacology/Medicine or postgraduate qualification in medicine.
• 2–4 years of experience in pharma industry or research as Medical Advisor.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific foundation for TA medical strategy across medical activities.
• Conceptualize and manage medical activities: research, publications, medical education, patient support programs.
• Engage key thought leaders through medical affairs activities per strategic plan.
• Ensure execution of the medical affairs plan through regional medical activities.
• Act as therapeutic area expert; discuss data with specialists and train sales/marketing teams.

Job description

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for serving as a core scientific member of the cross-functional franchise team, providing the scientific foundation for the Therapeutic Area (TA) medical strategy.
• You will be responsible for conceptualizing and managing a wide range of medical activities, aligned with the TA Medical strategy, including research, publications, medical education, and patient support programs.
• You will be responsible for engaging key thought leaders through medical affairs activities, in line with the overall strategic plan.
• You will be responsible for ensuring the optimal execution of the strategic medical affairs plan through Regional Medical Affairs, encompassing medical education, product education, and special projects.
• You will be responsible for acting as a therapeutic area scientific expert, discussing scientific data with leading specialists, and providing training on the latest medical developments to the sales and marketing team.

Qualification & Experience

• Educational qualification-MBBS with M.D. Pharmacology/Medicine or full time post-graduate qualification in any discipline of medicine??
• Minimum work experience- 2-4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or research company in a Medical Advisor capacity.
