Medical Affairs – Executive / Senior Executive

Role overview:

To provide scientific and medical expertise across product launches, brand support, medical information, new product evaluation, and scientific publications, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based medical communication and support to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Launch & Medical Content Development

• Conduct comprehensive literature searches across relevant medical and scientific databases to gather clinical evidence and scientific information.
• Develop detailed Medical Manuals as key scientific reference resources for internal and external stakeholders.
• Create comprehensive, scientifically robust, and engaging medical presentations for new product launches.
• Deliver scientific presentations to Marketing and Field teams, providing technical inputs on the therapy area, product, and supporting clinical evidence.
• Develop and tailor medical content to meet the requirements of internal teams and Healthcare Professionals.
• Analyze and synthesize published data to identify and communicate key scientific insights.
• Translate complex medical and scientific information into clear, concise, and impactful educational materials.

2. Medical Information & Scientific Query Support

• Address medical and scientific queries from the Field Force and Healthcare Professionals, providing accurate, relevant, and evidence-based responses.
• Provide appropriate scientific references and medical inputs to support product- and therapy-related queries.

3. Medical Support & Scientific Communication for Brands

• Develop CME Kits, including scientific PowerPoint presentations and relevant supporting references.
• Stay abreast of the latest scientific developments across relevant products and therapy areas, including landmark clinical trials and guidelines from scientific associations.
• Provide technical and scientific support to Marketing and Sales teams for new and existing products, including relevant scientific references.
• Prepare Prescribing Information and other required medical content.
• Review and validate marketing content for medical accuracy, scientific rigor, and quality.

4. New Product Evaluation & Medical Ideation

• Provide the medical and scientific rationale/justification for potential new product introductions.
• Evaluate and recommend novel products, new indications, and unique dosage forms based on relevant medical and scientific information.

5. Scientific Publications & Medical Writing

• Prepare and support the development of manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals, including original research and review articles.
