Title: Mechanism Design and Analysis Intern

Role Type: Full-time, on-site internship

About the role:

As a Design Engineer Intern, you will get hands‑on exposure to the Earth Observation Satellite Payload Development Team. This role is designed for students or fresh graduates who are curious, eager to learn, and passionate about exploring innovative solutions in space technology.

You will work on real engineering challenges like deployable mechanisms and mechanical structures, while receiving mentorship from experienced engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing and analyzing deployable and mechanical structures. S
• upport optimization of designs for performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to learn how satellite payloads are developed.
• Gain exposure to engineering fundamentals while exploring new ideas and technologies.

Requirements:

• Basic proficiency in CAD modeling and analysis software (preferred: Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, Ansys, Abaqus).
• Foundational knowledge of design, simulation, and material properties.
• Curiosity about mechanical structures and aerospace systems. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Eagerness to learn, explore, and bring fresh ideas to the table.
