Role & responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and machinery.
• Diagnose & Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Repair & Replace defective parts, components, or systems to restore functionality.
• Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential problems before breakdowns occur.
• Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, records, and service reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Support production teams by minimizing downtime through quick interventions.
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians to resolve technical issues.
• Participate in shutdowns, overhauls, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

• Qualification: ITI / Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field
• Experience: 25 years (Junior) / 5+ years (Senior) in industrial equipment maintenance
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Industry Exposure: Experience in Manufacturing, Process Industry, Power Plant, or Facility Maintenance preferred
• Tools Handling: Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Safety Awareness: Knowledge of workplace safety standards, PPE, and permit-to-work systems
• Soft Skills: Good problem-solving ability, teamwork, time management, and communication skills
• Flexibility: Willingness to work in shifts, travel to sites, and support shutdown/overhaul activities
