As a Mechanical QA Tester, you will carry out mechanical inspection and validation testing on robot components, sub-assemblies and complete robots. You will follow test plans and procedures written by the Mechanical QA Engineer, take accurate measurements, run durability and environmental tests, and report every failure clearly. Your work helps make sure each robot can survive demanding construction-site use. You will report to the Mechanical QA Engineer and work closely with the mechanical design, manufacturing and assembly teams.
Diploma or ITI in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Production, Automobile or Mechatronics. A B.E./B.Tech in these fields is also welcome. 1-3 years of experience in mechanical inspection, testing, assembly, maintenance or QA. Freshers with hands-on workshop or project experience are encouraged to apply. Able to read engineering drawings, including dimensions, tolerances and basic GD&T symbols. Basic understanding of materials, fasteners, welding and common machining processes. Comfortable working on a computer. No programming background is needed.
