UST is looking for a Mechanical Obsolescence Engineer in Bengaluru. The role focuses on obsolescence management, engineering change processes, and coordination with suppliers to ensure material replacements meet specifications.
You will engage with Teamcenter, OrCAD, Allegro, CAM350, and AutoCAD to evaluate replacements, update drawings, and support ECR activities and project management across OBS Engg initiatives.

Engg change mgmt. and overall industry experience 5yrs – Team Center / OrCAD / Allegro / CAM350 / AutoCAD experience/E3 - Project Mgmt. awareness Project Name: OBS Engg/Change Management Support OBS Engg Support Replacement Solution Identification and Engg Change Package Contacting OEMs for technical specs / datasheets of replacements Contacting stakeholders and suppliers - need basis ECR activities Stakeholders issue resolution and approval follow -up Update drawings using E3S/UG/CAM350 / AutoCAD or any other software Component release to Team Center Drawing creation and updates – need basis Work Requirements 1. OBS Solutions Mgmt. OBS Issue Validation OBS project classification based on pre-defined attributes Replacement Solution Identification Engg Change Package o technical spec comparisons and reference datasheets o models/schematic comparisons o design impact and recommendation Tools usage - SAP; TC; SPS db; CORE+ (TBD), ATOM o Where used analysis; Technical specifications Contacting OEMs for technical specs / datasheets of replacements Contacting stakeholders and suppliers - need basis.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
