Job summary

Andor Tech in Bengaluru is seeking a design engineer proficient in NX Modelling and Sheet metal to create parametric 3D models and manufacturing drawings for plates, weldments, machined parts and assemblies.

The role requires hands-on experience with NX piping, GD&T, tolerances, and international design standards, plus familiarity with Teamcenter and SolidWorks PDM. Collaboration with customers and internal teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with NX Modelling and Sheet metal modules.
• Good understanding of GD&T and tolerances.
• Hands-on with Teamcenter and SolidWorks PDM.
• Experience with SolidWorks and heavy equipment is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Parametric 3D model creation using NX Modelling and Sheet metal modules.
• Detailed manufacturing drawing creation which includes Plate, Sheetmetal, Welding, Machining and Assembly drawings in NX.
• Able to design and modify Structural assemblies and layouts.
• Good knowledge of standard components like Fasteners, Hydraulic adapters, and Fittings.
• Able to create Hose and Pipe routings in NX piping module.
• Good understanding of Fits, Tolerances and GD&T.
• Knowledge of International design Standards.
• Communicate well with customers, team members, and other business units.
• Able to describe basic machine mechanisms and their applications.
