Job summary

Beumer in Gurugram is seeking a Mechanical CAD Engineer to create project drawings and documents under the guidance of a team lead. You will produce layout drawings, GA drawings and flow sheets and ensure timely submission.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, have hands-on experience with mechanical equipment and design calculations, and be proficient in AutoCAD and Solid Edge.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Solid understanding of drafting, dimensioning, tolerancing and manufacturing processes.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Create project drawings/documents as per Team Leader instructions.
• Produce layout drawings, GA drawings and flow sheets.
• Discuss and decide schedule start, completion and submission dates; ensure timely delivery.
• Self-review drawings/docs for completeness, correctness and aesthetics before quality review.
• Review drawings with Team Leader and implement comments; understand rationale for changes.
• Ensure concurrence of Civil & structural drawings per project/client requirements.
• Prepare erection drawings as per project/client requirements.

Job description

Responsibility :

• To Create Project drawings / documents as per instructions of Team leader based on inputs received and obtained.

1) Layout Drawing

2) GA drawing

3) Flow sheet

• Discuss & decide schedule start, completion and submission date & ensure the timely completion of task
• Carryout self-review of the drawings / documents, with respect to completeness, correctness, aesthetics etc. before submission for quality review.
• Jointly review the drawings with Team leader/member and carry out changes as per the comments and understand the basis / reason for comments.
• Concurrence of Civil & structural Drawings as per Project / Client requirement
• Prepare Erection drawings as per Project / Client requirement.

Requirements :

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical engineering discipline from an accredited college or University.
• Good Mechanical knowledge with practical hands-on experience in mechanical equipment & design calculation.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Solid Edge.
• Very Good Communication skills, able to work in team, takes ownership
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
