Job summary

Klenzaids Contamination Controls Pvt Ltd, part of the Syntegon group, seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer for Verna, Goa. You will design mechanical systems, create CAD models, perform calculations, and contribute to safe, regulatory-ready solutions for pharma and biotech projects.

Ideal candidates have a BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering with 3–5 years of design experience, CAD proficiency (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Taction), and teamwork skills. Some travel within India and abroad may be required.

Qualifications

• Design mechanical systems, components and customized solutions per project requirements.
• Create 3D models and drawings using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Taction).
• SAP knowledge is preferred for parts management and configuration.
• Perform engineering calculations and simulations to verify design performance and compliance.
• Participate in design reviews and propose improvements or modifications.
• Document design processes, specifications and changes through project lifecycle.
• Stay updated with latest mechanical design practices.

The role involves ensuring compliant, efficient contamination-control systems that support high-quality, regulatory-ready production environments.

• Design and develop mechanical systems, components, constructive customized solutions and functions according to project requirements and specifications.

• Create 3D models and detailed drawings using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD,). Configure machines with Taction and SolidWorks.

• Create parts, assemblies, modules and parts lists. SAP Know-how is preferred.

• Conduct engineering calculations and simulations to verify design performance and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

• Participate in design reviews, provide technical input, and suggest improvements or modifications as necessary.

• Document design processes, specifications, and changes throughout the project lifecycle.

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in mechanical design and engineering practices.

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering

• 3-5years of experience in mechanical design, preferably experience in Pharma and MedTech design

• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD & Taction).

• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g., ASME, ISO).

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Flexibility to travel within India and Abroad for training and business purpose when necessary.
