PeopleStrong is seeking a proactive engineer to lead end-to-end engineering, design, vendor development, procurement support, and project execution of Fuel Firing Systems for Thermal Power Plants.
You will ensure timely closure of packages, coordinate across clients, vendors, and internal teams, and drive quality, cost, and delivery commitments with a proactive approach.

Role Overview:
Responsible for end-to-end engineering, design, vendor development, procurement support, and project execution of Fuel Firing Systems for Thermal Power Plants.
The candidate shall demonstrate strong ownership, accountability, and commitment towards timely closure of assigned packages and project deliverables.
Handle bought-out packages such as Pumps, Oil Storage Tanks, Spring Hangers, Valves, Ceramic-Lined Components, and other related equipment.
Prepare and review technical specifications, datasheets, technical reports, material requisitions, EBOMs, and technical evaluation reports in line with contractual and project requirements.
Coordinate effectively with clients, vendors, supply chain, quality, manufacturing, and project management teams to ensure smooth execution and closure of assigned packages.
Drive package execution with a proactive approach, ensuring adherence to quality, cost, and delivery commitments.
Review piping layouts, isometrics, material selection documents, support designs, clash checks, and fabrication drawing checking.
Interface with fabrication shops, quality teams, and project stakeholders for technical approvals, manufacturing support, and project execution activities.
Provide support for spare jobs, site erection activities, troubleshooting, technical query resolution, and supplier/site visits to ensure compliance with project requirements and schedules.
The candidate must be a highly proactive and self-driven individual with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility for end-to-end package closure.
Should possess the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and consistently deliver results within committed timelines.
Must demonstrate a high level of dedication, urgency, and accountability, including willingness to put in additional effort whenever required to meet critical project milestones and business commitments. Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills are essential.
Candidates possessing advanced AutoCAD & Excel proficiency will be given preference.
