Job summary

Tekwin Power Systems India Private Limited in Tamil Nadu seeks an engineer to design panel enclosures and structural assemblies for floors, walls, outdoor and marine applications. You will prepare GA, fabrication and assembly drawings and coordinate with multiple teams during fabrication and inspection.

You will ensure IEC/IS and marine standard compliance, prepare BOMs, manage design revisions, and optimize designs for cost, manufacturability, and performance, while implementing changes from

Qualifications

• Design experience for electrical panel enclosures and sheet metal components.
• Knowledge of fabrication processes and manufacturing practices.
• Familiarity with IEC/IS and marine standards, including IP ratings and thermal management.

Responsibilities

• Design panel enclosures and structural assemblies (floor, wall, outdoor, marine).
• Prepare GA, fabrication and assembly drawings.
• Prepare BOMs and manage design revisions/documentation.
• Coordinate with Electrical, Production, Procurement and QA/QC teams during fabrication and inspection.
• Implement design changes from customer feedback and support FAT discussions.
• Ensure designs comply with standards and optimize for cost and manufacturability.

Role & responsibilities

• Design panel enclosures and structural assemblies (floor, wall, outdoor, marine) and prepare GA, fabrication, and assembly drawings
• Design sheet metal components busbar chambers, cable alleys, partitions, and compartment layouts
• Ensure designs comply with IEC/IS and marine standards, covering IP ratings, ventilation, and thermal management
• Prepare BOMs and maintain design revisions/documentation
• Coordinate with Electrical, Production, Procurement, and QA/QC teams during fabrication and inspection
• Implement design changes per customer feedback and support FAT/client discussions

Key Skills

• Strong knowledge of electrical panel enclosure design and sheet metal fabrication
• Hands‑on experience in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and related design software
• Good understanding of fabrication processes, structural design, and manufacturing practices
• Knowledge of panel industry standards, IP protection requirements, and thermal considerations
• Ability to optimize designs for cost, manufacturability, and functionality
• Strong analytical, coordination, and problem‑solving skills
