Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced MEAN Stack Developer who has strong hands-on expertise in building scalable applications, APIs, and services. The ideal candidate is someone who can take ownership of end-to-end modules, contribute to architecture discussions, and ensure delivery of high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications and APIs using the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js).

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and robust solutions.

• Build reusable, testable, and efficient code with a focus on performance and scalability.

• Integrate third-party services and RESTful APIs.

• Ensure security, authentication, and authorization best practices (JWT, OAuth).

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers in agile sprints.

• Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.

• Deploy, monitor, and optimize applications on cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure).

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on development experience with the MEAN stack.

• Strong expertise in Angular (latest versions), RxJS, and state management.

• Proficiency in Node.js with Express.js for building scalable APIs.

• Experience with MongoDB – schema design, indexing, aggregation pipelines.

• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and RESTful API design.

• Experience with Git and CI/CD workflows.

• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (Jasmine, Jest, Mocha).

• Good problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or serverless deployment.

• Exposure to microservices architecture.

• Knowledge of GraphQL.

• Familiarity with agile tools like Jira, Trello.
