Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Lead Full Stack Angular/Java Developer to work on a complex brownfield Platform Modernisation. In this key role, you will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team in the development and implementation of software solutions, with a specific focus on a platform modernisation project. You will utilize your expertise in Java and Angular to deliver high-quality solutions while ensuring alignment with client requirements and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development team in the design, implementation, and optimization of platform modernisation/conversion/migration solutions
Ensure high standards of code quality and application design through code reviews and best practice methodologies
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Oversee the integration of front-end and back-end components to create seamless user experiences
Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team
Significant experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a strong focus on Angular
Experience with platform modernisation/conversion/migration strategies and tools
Experience working with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and development best practices
Strong understanding of CI/CD processes and version control using Git
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members
Proactive problem-solving mindset with strong analytical skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
A genuine passion for technology and software development
Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members

Desirable Qualifications:

Experience with cloud technologies such as Azure
Background in financial services or experience with market data management is preferred
