Job summary

Saaki Argus and Averil Consulting seeks a Model-Based Development Leader to drive simulation, modeling and control algorithm design for high-performance motor control and power electronics.

You will build high-fidelity models in MATLAB/Simulink, develop FOC and sensorless control, run MIL/HIL tests, and collaborate with hardware teams to deploy to embedded targets.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in MBD, power electronics, motor control, and BMS.
• Strong mastery of MATLAB/Simulink, control theory, and embedded HW/FW concepts.

Responsibilities

• Build high-fidelity models for electric motors, BMS, and power electronics.
• Develop FOC and sensorless control algorithms.
• Conduct MIL/HIL real-time simulations and refine models using experimental data.
• Multi-Domain optimization: analyze torque load dynamics, thermal behavior, and system durability.
• Embedded collaboration: partner with hardware/firmware teams to deploy algorithms to embedded targets.

About the Role

We are looking for a Model-Based Development (MBD) Leader to drive the simulation, modeling, and control algorithm design for high-performance motor control and power electronics systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Control & Systems Modeling: Build high-fidelity models for electric motors, BMS (SOC/SOH), and power electronics using MATLAB, Simulink, and Simscape.
• Algorithm Design: Develop FOC, sensorless control, and torque/speed regulation algorithms.
• System Testing & Validation: Conduct MIL/HIL real-time simulations and refine models using experimental test data.
• Multi-Domain Optimization: Analyze torque load dynamics, thermal behavior, and system durability.
• Embedded Collaboration: Partner with hardware/firmware teams to ensure seamless deployment of algorithms to embedded targets.

Requirements

B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.

10+ years of experience in MBD, power electronics, motor control, and BMS.

Strong mastery of MATLAB/Simulink, control theory, and embedded HW/FW concepts
