Job Description: Technical Support Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Proven experience of working as a Desktop Support Engineer, Technical Support Specialist, or a related role.
2. Troubleshoot technology issues.
3. Install and maintain equipment and software.
4. Perform remote troubleshooting.
5. Exceptional knowledge of working with Windows, Linux, and Mac OS systems.
6. Proficient knowledge of MS Outlook, Patch Updation, Backup, and Antivirus.
7. Proficient knowledge of computer systems and their peripherals such as printers, scanners, CCTV, Biometric machines, etc.
8. Experience with various network connections addressing.
9. Knowledge of WiFi and Access Points.
10. Help new employees set up their workstations.
11. Maintain and upgrade equipment as needed.
12. Work with existing vendors to evaluate new technology.
13. Monitor the performance of the company’s desktop infrastructure and provide suggestions to improve efficiency.
14. Test, install, and set up application programs on user workstations.
15. Test network connections.
16. Train end users when new software or IT regulations arrive at the company.
17. Install and maintain equipment and application software like Tally.
18. Ask questions to pinpoint the problem.
19. Respond to ad hoc and urgent requests.
20. Ensure customer satisfaction by providing the best solutions to their queries.
21. Good problem-solving and multitasking skills.
