Vctavern is hiring a Principal Engineer to own and drive the development of backend platforms in Bengaluru. You will lead the design and development of scalable microservices and RESTful APIs, mentor junior developers, and partner with founders to shape product direction.

The role requires 6+ years of backend/Full Stack experience in fast-paced environments, strong ownership, and excellent communication. You will work on cloud infrastructure (AWS), ensuring secure, scalable services.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of proven experience as a Backend/Full Stack developer in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in building Microservices/RESTful APIs with any modern tech stack.
• Working knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
• Ability to analyse and convert business requirements into technical requirements.
• Track record of ownership, delivery speed, and quality in previous roles.

We are looking to hire a ‘Principal Engineer” who can own and drive development of their products. As a principal engineer, you should be a passionate Backend developer with a focus on building maintainable and scalable systems. You will be responsible for the design and development of backend platforms. You will be closely working with founders and head of engineering to build products.
