Job summary

Aristocrat India is seeking a Game Mathematician I to join our world-class gaming team. You will analyze game requirements, develop math models for slot games, and write simulations to verify accuracy and compliance with jurisdictional rules.

You'll apply C/C++ fundamentals on Windows/Linux, leverage probability theory, and support the SDLC within a collaborative, innovative environment that aims to deliver high-quality games to a global audience.

Qualifications

• Must have a Mathematics or Statistics background with 2+ years in a math/stat related role.
• Proficiency in C/C++ under Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Strong understanding of probability and its applications.
• Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with SDLC.
• Educational background MSc or MSc-equivalent (MTech) in Mathematics or Statistics.

Responsibilities

• Analyze game requirements with business collaborators to ensure flawless execution.
• Develop math models for Class 3 and Class 2 slot games and document mathematics using Excel templates.
• Write simulations to verify math accuracy and jurisdictional compliance.
• Apply C programming (or equivalent) to validate game mathematics and simulate gameplay.
• Review math test plans and results to ensure compliance with market standards.
• Brainstorm and build innovative new game concepts to captivate players.
• Ensure high performance and timely market delivery of games.

What You'll Do

• Analyze game requirements in collaboration with business collaborators to ensure flawless execution
• Develop intricate math models for Class 3 and Class 2 slot games, calculating the probability of game events and documenting game mathematics using Excel-based templates
• Write simulations to verify math accuracy and compliance with jurisdictional requirements
• Apply knowledge of C programming (or equivalent) to validate game mathematics and simulate gameplay
• Review math test plans and results to ensure game compliance with target market standards
• Build innovative new game concepts that captivate our audience
• Ensure high performance in game quality and timely market delivery

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2+ years of industry experience in a Math or Statistics related role
• Basic programming skills in C/C++ under Windows/Linux operating systems
• Strong skills in probability theory and its applications
• Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Educational background in Mathematics or Statistics (MSc or equivalent experience, or M. Tech.)
