Job summary

IHCL is seeking a Materials/Procurement professional to manage procurement, evaluate products, and negotiate terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effective quality for our hospitality operations. The role involves monitoring market rates and ensuring compliance with the Materials manual.

Ideal candidates will have 2-3 years in hospitality, a graduate degree, and fluency in English and Hindi (regional dialect preferred).

Job Objective

Manages the Materials function within the department by overseeing the specific procurement and ensures best quality & rates available as per budget, pre-laid processes (Materials manual). Assists the Materials Department with a view to maximise profitability and achieves desired financial results.

Essential Job Tasks

• Evaluating products, price and quality.
• Vendor evaluations to be carried out on periodic basis.
• Negotiating contracts for the hotel and working out on the agreements with suppliers for product delivery.
• Monitoring the market rates on periodic basis.

Required Qualifications

Graduate in any discipline

Work Experience

02 - 03 years experience in the field of hospitality

Languages Needed in Position
