Job summary

Veralto, a global leader in essential technology solutions, is seeking a Master Data Management Lead in Bangalore. You will own master data across domains, manage Oracle Fusion data, and ensure governance in a SOX-controlled environment, with cross-functional collaboration.

This role requires 7–10 years in MDM, strong analytic skills with PowerBI and SQL, and a relevant master's degree. You will drive data quality, participate in continuous improvement, and partner with Data Owners globally.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems or related discipline.
• 7-10 years experience in MDM, ERP or related function.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion strongly preferred; other ERP is relevant.
• Experience with PowerBI and SQL.
• Understanding of customer, supplier, product/item and/or financial master data.
• Experience in SOX-controlled environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, block and deactivate master data in Oracle Fusion and other designated systems in accordance with approved requests and established governance.
• Maintain master data across key domains including Customer, Product/Item, Supplier and Finance master data, based on defined role responsibilities.
• Validate that requests contain required approvals and supporting information before execution.
• Ensure master-data changes are accurately reflected in applicable downstream systems and integrations.
• Manage requests within defined service-level agreements and business priorities.
• Perform regular data-quality checks for completeness, accuracy, consistency and duplicates.
• Identify and remediate master-data quality issues and legacy-data cleanup requirements.
• Support development and maintenance of master-data standards, procedures and work instructions.
• Monitor recurring issues and recommend preventive improvements.
• Maintain appropriate documentation and audit trails for master-data changes.
• Execute master-data activities in accordance with Eskos internal control and SOX requirements.
• Maintain appropriate segregation between request, approval and execution of master-data changes.
• Support internal and external audit requests relating to master-data controls.
• Escalate unauthorized, incomplete or non-compliant requests.
• Track MDM operational KPIs including request volumes, turnaround time, first-time-right rate, backlog, data-quality exceptions and SLA performance.
• Identify opportunities to standardize and automate master-data processes.
• Support simplification of master-data structures and workflows following Project LEAP.
• Participate in root-cause analysis of defects and operational issues resulting from master-data quality.
• Work closely with global Data Owners and Data Stewards across Finance, Product Management, Commercial Operations, Procurement, Service and IT.
• Provide guidance to users on master-data requirements and processes.
• Support ongoing Oracle Fusion stabilization and future system/business integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

Master Data Operations

Qualifications & Experience

• Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems or related discipline.
• 7-10 years experience, ideally someone who has helped establish MDM in an Oracle/shared-services environment; experience in master data, finance operations, shared services, ERP operations or a related function.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion strongly preferred; experience with another major ERP platform also relevant.
• Experience with PowerBI, SQL
• Understanding of customer, supplier, product/item and/or financial master data.
• Experience working within a controlled/SOX environment preferred.
