Role: Marketing Intern (Cross Border) – 6 Months Internship

About the role:

Cashfree helps businesses collect payments online. Our Cross-Border team works on payments that move between India and the rest of the world, in both directions:

• Global companies coming into India. We help foreign brands and payment companies accept payments from Indian customers.
• Indian businesses selling abroad. We help Indian brands get paid by customers in other countries.

As our marketing intern, you'll help us tell that story. You'll work on content, social posts, and track how our campaigns perform. Everything you make goes live, and you'll see the results.

What you'll do:

Publish content people find on Google and in AI tools

• Write web pages and FAQs that answer common questions from global companies entering India
• Write simple explainers for a new payment option we're launching
• Research what people search for in a new product area, and write content for it early
• Track which pages show up in search and AI answers, and update the ones that don't

Create for social media

You'll help plan our social content, create the posts, and see how they perform.

• Join planning sessions and pitch post ideas for each campaign
• Create posts using AI tools for design and copy, from launch posts to custom visuals for brands we want to win
• Work with the social media team to schedule and publish posts
• Track how each post performs and report on what's working

Manage campaign data and report results:

Every campaign has a goal. You'll help us see whether we're hitting it.

• Build target lists we want to reach
• Keep track of campaign performance and maintain performance reports
• Create reports for monthly and quarterly team reviews

Use AI to work faster:

AI tools are part of the job every day, not an extra.

• Use tools like Claude, ChatGPT and Canva AI to write, design and research faster
• Create reusable prompts and templates the team can share
• Check AI output carefully and fix it before it goes out

Who we're looking for

You must have

• A portfolio: links to things you've written, designed or built. College projects and personal work count.
• An eye for design, and some experience with Canva or Figma
• Experience using AI tools in your own work, with examples you can show

Nice to have, not required

• Interest in fintech, payments or tech companies
• Experience running a social media page, newsletter or community
• You've automated something (even small) with a tool
