Job summary

Lupin is seeking a field-based sales professional in Mirzapur, India to drive prescription generation and achieve product-wise and value-wise targets. The role focuses on primary and secondary sales within the assigned territory, building strong relationships with doctors, chemists, and stockists.

The candidate should have a pharma background and relevant experience to develop market insights, manage product distribution, and execute territory plans to meet business objectives.

Qualifications

• B. Pharma or B.Sc. (preferable), or D. Pharma with 1 year of experience.
• Preferable 6 months to 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Meet assigned doctors, chemists, stockists as per company strategy.
• Generate prescriptions and achieve sales targets product-wise, value-wise both in primary and secondary sales on monthly and yearly basis.
• Enhance territory profitability, increase/maintain brand market share and ensure proper customer relationship through engagement initiatives in line with company strategy.
• Manage proper product distribution in the assigned territory and control expenses like breakage, expires etc.
• Provide market intelligence data on market conditions and impact of promotional strategy to line managers and marketing team.
• Prepare and propose strategic distribution plan for the assigned territory for the month and year.
• Develop and generate Stockists/distributor orders as per business plan and ensure payments are collected as per policy.

Key Responsibilities

• To meet the assigned customers (Doctors, Chemists, Stockists etc.) in the desired frequency as per our company strategy.
• To generate prescriptions and achieve sales targets product-wise, value-wise both in primary and secondary sales on monthly as well as yearly basis.
• Enhance territory profitability, increase / maintain brand market share and ensure proper customer relationship through different customer engagement initiatives in line with our company strategy.
• Manage proper product distribution in the assigned territory and control expenses such breakage, expires etc.
• Provide market intelligence data on market conditions and impact of promotional strategy of company’s products as well as that of competitors to the line managers and the marketing team.
• Prepare and propose strategic distribution plan for the assigned territory for the month as well as the year to meet the business objectives.
• Develop and generate Stockists / distributor orders as per the business plan, ensure proper supply of goods and also ensure that all payments and dues are collected from the Stockists / distributors as per company policy.
