Job summary

Bekaert Industries seeks a Market Intelligence professional to lead the transformation using AI, automation and digital tech. You will design, deploy and govern AI-powered insights for market, competitor and industry analysis from Pune or nearby operations.

Purpose and Mission

Drive the transformation of Market Intelligence through the adoption of AI, automation and digital technologies.

Key Activities and Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, administer and continuously improve AI-powered solutions, copilots and agents that support market analysis, competitor monitoring and intelligent research workflows.
• Identify opportunities to automate data gathering, screening, synthesis, reporting and recurring market intelligence activities.
• Combine internal and external information to generate decision-ready market, customer, competitor and industry insights.
• Develop automated market monitoring, signal detection and early-warning capabilities for relevant trends, opportunities and risks.
• Partner with Commercial, IT, Data and Automation teams to convert business requirements into scalable digital solutions.
• Integrate AI-enabled insights into relevant commercial workflows, CRM environments, dashboards and reporting processes.
• Establish human-in-the-loop controls, validation routines and governance standards to support reliable and responsible use of AI-generated insights.
• Drive user adoption through practical guidance, training, documentation and change management.
• Monitor emerging AI and analytics capabilities and assess their relevance for Market Intelligence.

Qualifications

Education

• Masters degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science or a related discipline.

Experience

• Experience in Market Intelligence, Business Intelligence, Commercial Analytics, Knowledge Management, Digital Transformation or a comparable field.
• Hands-on experience with AI-enabled tools, automation platforms, advanced analytics solutions or agent-based technologies.
• Experience identifying, implementing and improving digital solutions that address concrete business needs.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and supporting adoption of new tools or ways of working.

Technical Digital Skills

• Practical understanding of Generative AI, prompt design, AI agents and intelligent research workflows.
• Ability to design, configure, test and continuously improve AI-enabled solutions with appropriate human oversight.
• Process automation tools such as Power Automate, RPA or comparable technologies.
• CRM and commercial systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an advantage.
• Power BI, data visualisation and dashboard development.
• Data analytics, reporting and data management.
• Strong digital and technology curiosity, with the ability to learn emerging tools rapidly.
