Job summary

Theapexgroup is seeking a visionary VP-level leader to head Trade Automation for Fund Solutions. You will drive automation across trade processing and reconciliation, integrate client data, and lead cross-functional teams globally to deliver scalable technology solutions.

You will mentor analysts, define roadmaps, and ensure compliant, timely trade processing while improving operational efficiency through advanced analytics and ETL workflows.

Qualifications

• Advanced SQL, VBA, MS Access and Excel proficiency.
• Hands-on ETL tools usage and data mapping experience.
• Familiarity with Advent Geneva, Paxus, Bloomberg and Refinitiv.
• Deep knowledge of listed/unlisted securities, OTCs, derivatives and private equity.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of trade automation solutions across fund services.
• Define and execute the automation roadmap aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.
• Champion process optimization and digital transformation initiatives across trade workflows.
• Oversee integration of client trade files into internal systems, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure solutions.
• Collaborate with client service managers, product teams, and external vendors to gather requirements and deliver tailored automation strategies.
• Ensure high-quality delivery of ETL processes, data mapping, and exception handling.
• Ensure trade transactions are processed accurately and timely, adhering to SLAs and compliance standards.
• Monitor and troubleshoot automation workflows, proactively resolving issues and minimizing operational risk.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for all automated processes to support audit readiness and transparency.
