Vertiv is seeking a Product Quality Engineer (NPDI) to drive field quality improvements across new product development. You will lead cross-functional teams, implement corrective actions, and develop key metrics for warranty and reliability tracking.
The role requires data-driven problem solving, 8D reporting, and collaboration with Engineering, Service, Manufacturing, and Supply Quality to resolve issues. You will visit customers to verify issues, track product transfers, and support warranty
Drive product field quality improvements. Provide direction and support for implementation and continued use of tools and methods utilized in the improvement of system reliability. Lead implementation and apply advanced quality processes, methods and tools for all new product development programs. Develop and report critical product metrics for warranty and reliability tracking and projections. Effectively work across all product development areas in the company to drive and sustain a strong quality culture across the overall organization. Lead, coordinate and support multiple quality improvement projects across various departmental areas, driving short term and long term, sustainable corrective actions to address product and process issues.
BA or BS or equivalent experience
Engineering or Technical Field
5-8 years of experience
At least 3 years of professional engineering quality related experience.
