Job summary

Socomec in Gurugram is seeking a quality professional to strengthen its supplier quality management system and ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and CCC requirements. You will qualify materials, evaluate suppliers, conduct supplier audits, drive CAPA, and push continuous improvement across assembly and molding processes to achieve operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and CCC certification requirements with Management Representative.
• Establish and maintain the Supplier Quality Management System.
• Qualify materials and components to meet quality requirements.
• Evaluate and qualify new suppliers.
• Review existing suppliers’ quality performance and drive improvements.
• Conduct supplier audits and support supplier development.
• Establish and maintain process quality standards.
• Develop work instructions for assembly processes.
• Develop work instructions for moulding processes.
• Analyse quality complaints and implement CAPA.
• Monitor defect levels in parts per million (PPM) and drive reductions.
• Qualify parts and vendors for new projects.
• Drive continuous improvement and process enhancement to achieve operational excellence.
• Implement Kaizen initiatives and process excellence ideas.
• Apply quality control (QC) tools to reduce defects and optimise processes.
• Drive quality improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Analyse customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
• Investigate defective products returned by customers and implement solutions across factory stock and production processes.
• Monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions and drive improvements in customer-reported defect levels (PPM)
